I have often heard things described as “corn flower blue”, but had no clue what corn flowers look like.
These purple little dandelion numbers surely can’t be them? It’s a lovely picture, but they are so not blue???

Corn flower? I assumed they would be the flowering part of corn. There is blue corn…

I wasn’t sure what they were, but THOUGHT they were cornflowers, so I googled images and this is what came up. http://images.google.com/images?q=cornflower&sourceid=ie7&rls=com.microsoft:en-US&oe=utf8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi
They do come in blue, but also a bunch of other colors.
Michael, I don’t think corn has a flowering part??
