I stepped in some in Florida while I was helping Sam pee on the side of a highway….had no idea what they were until…..OUCH!!!!!! OMG!! that was terrible!! I had about 11 bites and was scratching for days! hate those things!!!!

I have these in my garden!!! I HATE them. I tried to get a shot of them so at least SOME good would come from their invasion of my garden… no luck! You got a couple great shots!

One day I was working in the garden. The next thing I remember, I was in the back of an ambulance. That was the day I learned about anaphylactic shock. I had a dozen or so ant bites that drove me insane for a week or so.
There are none in my yard. I treat heavily for that devil’s spawn.

Ugh I hate fire Ants! I will never forget last summer unknowingly standing in a mound of fire ants while trying to get kids in the car! When I finally got in the car my foot was covered with those little devils! So awful, thankfully I didn’t have the anaphylactic shock that burstmode had! This year, we treated the lawn for fire ants and I haven’t seen a one!
