2010/248: Summer Road Trip, Part 5 (cont.)
As promised, more pictures from the Lake County Fair in Crown Point, Indiana.
On Friday, August 13th Cameron had the day off, and we spent all day at the water park. I had the camera in the car and thought about going to get it sometime in the afternoon before we went back to the hotel, but then decided against it, so no pictures from that day.
Dinner for all of us girls was White Castle’s while the guys got Italian Beef Sandwiches. Greg and Cameron went out to get dinner and brought it back to the hotel.
so fun! we never made it to a carnival this summer
but our wallets are thankful, lol!

Yes that Fair was a $200 adventure, admission, wristbands and food.

Fairs are such fun… I can hear the sounds just by looking at your beautiful photographs. Our White Castle’s have all closes. Good to hear that there are still some around.

My girls really wanted to ride the big swings at the State Fair last week, but each ride was $4.50! We did the tram ride which lasted about 30 min round trip and I took photos, so that was fun. Luckily I took the girls to a local amusement park, where they got a ride bracelet for only $4.

These are great shots, you captured these snapshots really well. I missed our town fair this past week. We are in Toronto right now. My husband had a business meeting here and we decided to tag along and extend the stay into a holiday. I love the fair, the food, the rides..but especially the food.
