Bluebonnets at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden

These remind me a lot of lupins. I wonder if they are related.

Oh, and I meant to say I love the blurred background – makes the field look like it could go on forever.
I’m pretty sure that they are related to lupins. They are beauties! I don’t think they grow here in these parts.

spring. sigh. when flowers were in bloom nad this box was WHITE! bizarre, back to black. gorgeous pic!
