2012/229: Sunset Point
This is Presque Isle Park’s Sunset Point in Marquette, Michigan. Sadly we were there at around 8pm, and with the sun not setting until about 10pm (or later!) we didn’t want to wait around that long. Meant to come back another day, but then never got around to it. A good excuse to go back another year, right?

I think it is gorgeous!

no way, no how, I would not have left w/o seeing the sunset, esp w/ a name like that! but yes, now you have to go back .

Well, waiting aroud for two hours or so would have been a bit boring, and I REALLY didn’t want to listen to the kids whining
And then we just never had time (or were too tired) to go back another night.

Hmmm, wondering exactly where Sunset Point is… Is it near Sand Point?

Where is Sand Point?? LOL
We just kept driving through Presque Isle Park and saw a sign for Sunset Point.

Wow, setting at 10? That I would love.

Yes, that IS nice, especially when you have things planned after dinner and you don’t have to rush to get them done before it gets dark

10:00?!? Wow, I guess that’s pretty far north! I thought only Alaska-type latitudes had those sunset times. Pretty shot.

Thank you Karen
Nope, Michigan gets a late sunset, too.
