I’m So Mean! Ha Ha!!
Today was soccer picture day, and since Greg is assistant coach for Sara’s team, I made him get into the team picture!! Ha ha ha!! He did NOT want to do it… his “excuse” was that he didn’t shave. Um… when does he ever??!! OK, he does shave… Mondays and Wednesdays, and on special occasions if I get lucky. And no, “getting lucky” is not a special occasion 😉 Anyway, I pushed him over to where the photographer was posing the team, and made him get in the picture. And he couldn’t even pull his hat over his face and stick his tongue out like he does when I try to take his pic!
And just for the record, we did not get individuals done. I plan on taking those myself and save a whole lot of money. I missed it when they took individual pictures of Melissa’s team, and Melissa did get hers taken, even though we had to pre-pay for our order and all we are buying is the team picture. I’m sure they’re going to hound us now, to buy some 😛
Greg was able to stop them from taking Sara’s individual picture, and I think that messed them up a bit, because they took one extra team picture of them all making silly faces (I want THAT one!!)

From the person who doesn’t get her picture taken……….lol!! It’s a great memory for Sara, I’m glad you made him to do it. I don’t think you’ll get hounded about not buying individaul…….they have sooo many orders, they won’t even notice. I’ve skipped indiv. as well but alot times they want some special i can’t do, like, the last fave was the cut-out pics, like a statue. Plus, I always take the pics it’s the printing I have a hard time with, lol!

A couple of years ago, when they did soccer pictures, we didn’t order any individuals (OMG you should have seen the cheesy background they used!! *gag*) and they kept calling us and leaving a message saying that our order was due… never leaving a number so we could call them back to tell them we don’t want their crappy pics. Then they finally mailed us a wallet size print (with proof scribbled on it LOL) to get us to order. After that they finally gave up.
I think this one is a different photographer because they didn’t use backdrops at all, so hopefully they will just send us what we ordered and leave it at that.
Mpix does the statuettes! Not sure how it works, I haven’t really checked that out.
And btw. there’s a reason why I don’t get my picture taken… wouldn’t want to break the camera 😉

Well, I am glad you made him do it too!! The soccer pics this year were free. I wonder if the bball ones will be too. They really suck!!! And i take so many anyway…why do i need their chhessy…say cheese…sun in your eyes pictures! LOL

I usually also buy just team pics, not the individual ones…I take better pics! Of course, when A was younger before I was really into photography, I bought some individual ones….
