crop happens…

R.I.P.

My new computer came on Monday, and Greg was sweet enough to hook it up for me on Tuesday. Been working to get everything back on there that I had on the old one. I’m getting there, but I’m still not done. But, I’m pretty sure I got everything OFF the old computer that I needed to copy to the new one. Too late now, if I forgot something, because Greg destroyed it yesterday and put it in the trash.

Rest in peace, you dusty old thing.

We need a new one too! I hate having that worry of whether you got everything. I always forget something, like my bookmarks or something little and then kick myself later.

Is it MUCH faster? I bet it is.

  2. I made a list of everything that I had on the old one (BEFORE Greg disconnected it), but I forgot to get my wallpapers off and Greg had to hook it up again.
I don’t know if it’s faster, but now I have 2GB of RAM instead of just 1GB and that makes a huge difference when I’m editing pictures.

  5. Dalia, check out Dell!! My new one is a Dell Inspiron 530 (customized) and it was pretty cheap! Certainly compared to the computer Greg got for himself a couple of years ago!! 😛
His is an Alienware… STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats M on your new computer… Shawn just upped my memory to 2GB… from the 1 gb that I had… it’s nice!!!! Did you use that transfer software to move everything… it’s so easy and so worth the money… it’s moves everything in no time!

  8. Transfer software? I don’t think I’ve ever hear of it?
We have an external harddrive that I saved some stuff to, and the wallpapers that I forgot, I just saved to a memory card and transferred them. All my pictures were on the ext. harddrive, too, but I also backed them up on DVDs.

Dalia, yes, Dells are cheaper than I thought, too.
