Friends At The Arboretum

Amber and I went to the Arboretum on Thursday and had SO much fun! It was nice, getting out for a whole day and not have to rush back to pick the kids up from school (our husbands were nice enough to do that). We got to the Arboretum just after they opened at 9 am, and I think we headed back home around 4:30 pm.

(I shot your Canon with my Nikon! 😉 )

Ooo I love our Arboretum! It is one of my favorite places I can take the kids and still get some pictures. Only problems is that it is TOO cold now for visits to the arboretum. I am jealous of your nice weather! Glad you had such a great time!

  6. Amy, our Arboretum is nicer that Morton’s 😉 At least the parts I’ve seen. We went a few years back with Melissa and the boys, and all we saw was trees. Didn’t see a single flower… if there are any. LOVED the Botanical Gardens in Chicago, though!!!!!

The day started out pretty chilly (around 48 F), but it warmed up nicely and turned out to be perfect.
