2009/91: Closed

We went to downtown Dallas Sunday afternoon, and planned on going to the observation deck of Reunion Tower. It would have been the perfect day for it, but unfortunately the observation deck was closed to the public for remodeling. It’s supposed to be finished in “a few more months”.

Oh wow, great pics even though you couldn’t get in. Love your perspective. Gorgeous sky! How far do you live from Dallas?

Yes, it would have been the perfect day!!
Doreen, I think it’s about a 45-min. drive, depending on traffic.

  5. Now that’s a BLUE sky! Bummer that it was closed but it made for some impressive photos.

  6. I love blue skies. So awesome how you got the reflection to line up in the second pic – I almost didn’t notice that it was a reflection.

  8. You actually wanted to go up there? All the way up there?

    Excuse me…. feeling queasy….

It was providence, perhaps, that it was closed. Michaela, it is not natural to suspend ones self so far above the earth. 😛

The pics from the ground look great. I hadn’t noticed that the base of the tower was reflection, until reading the comments; clever!

  9. LOL, yes, I wanted to go all the way up there 🙂
It’s not really THAT tall, only 560 feet (171m).
That’s nothing compared to the Sears Tower in Chicago (been there, too, several times), which is 1,450.58 feet (442 m) tall. 😉

  10. 442m? 😯
    Swoon!
