Bonus: Butterflies For Blue
Beyond Bluestockings posted some amazing butterfly photos on her blog yesterday and today, and I promised her, that I would post some of mine. So here they are (a littler later than promised, turned out to be a busy day)… all taken at the Dallas Arboretum last October.

lol! I was tempted to stay up until after your school run, but in sympathy with your busy day yesterday we had a plumbing disaster here. After moving everything out of our dungeon, I just couldn’t stay awake, but these are a delightful way to greet the morning. 🙂
I love the complementary colours in the middle one: that’s just perfect. It was also rather clever of you to coordinate your subject with the host in the first one!
The wanderer/monarch in the last picture we have here as well, but none of my photos of turned it out just right.

While it is probably the most common of the butterflies, the color combination in the second image is just stunning. Love it!
