2009/210: I’d Rather Be At The Gym

Yup, the GYM! I love being there, and when I’m home, I want to go back! I could seriously spend ALL day there. On Sunday I was there just before 5am for about an hour and a half, and then went back in the afternoon with Greg and the kids. Last week on Tuesday I walked 10 miles on the treadmill, and on Friday I walked 10.5 miles!
I’ve been told that I’m crazy (thanks, Amber!) and that I’m obsessed (thanks, honey!) but who knew that it would be so much fun?! And so rewarding to get on that scale and see that another pound or two fell off.
Joining the gym was one of the best things I’ve done for myself 🙂

    LOL! Good for you, that’s awesome you’re so in love. There are way worse things to be crazy and in love about!

    I too am a gym addict. Sometimes it is hard to get up at 4:45, but once I get my rear there, I am pumped. Now I hurt my knee and am longing for the gym 🙂

    Congrats on your dedication and shedding all those pounds. It really isn’t easy and you have done fabulously!

  4. 10 miles…wow…what speed to you walk at? I haven’t worked out in a while and I too am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things…I was thrilled when I got on the scale when I got home and it was the same as when I left…I worked hard over the winter and was pleased that I maintained..now to lose the last 20….

    Cheryl, average speed is about 4.0
    I start out a little slower (around 3.7) and increase to about 4.2. The treadmills I use have an incline, too, and the lowest I use is 2.5, up to 15.

  9. Yay! I love the gym too. Sadly, i haven’t been able to fit it into my life this year. But when school starts, I will be going back!
