2009/234: EnV

I got to upgrade my phone about two weeks ago and chose the LG EnV3… and we added texting to my plan, which I didn’t have before. How FUN! Yes, I’m addicted to texting now! It’s only unlimited to other Verizon customers, so if you have Verizon Wireless, text me anytime 😉
Dalia, you’re going to have to get a new phone now! LOL

  2. I have never heard of a plan where texting is not included. It’s pandemic here.

Burstmode, you will have to grasp it, or your children will consider you a dinosaur. 😛

  3. Michael, try it… you might get addicted, too! 😉

Blue, yes, there are still plans that don’t include texting or any of the other goodies like e-mail, web access, etc., but those are much more expensive than the voice only plan that I had. I still have the same plan as before, and chose texting as an add-on (cheaper than choosing a plan that included texting). Confused? LOL

I’ve been known to text but I don’t have a keyword so it’s frustrating……..I could’ve made the call 10x over before I get done typing, lol! But, I am getting better.

I’m not a fan of texting for the kids……….the kids we went away with had their nose in the phone more often than not. I think it’s teaching a generation how to be socially awkward in person. Not to mention the spelling it’s teaching them.

But, I do see them advantage of it………I do like getting info to someone and not have to spend a ton of time on the phone.

    Congrats……….looks like a beauty!

  5. congrats on your new phone…I don’t text like crazy but I do text….it’s great when Shawn is in a meeting and he can’t answer my call… but we can text and I don ‘t have to wait for his meeting to end to get the answer I was trying to find out…. how many non verizon texts are allowed in your plan…?

  6. I need a new phone. How is the sound and reception on yours. I have verizon and so does my whole family, but not many of my friends. I think I could get into texting if I had a qwerty, but I don’t think my mom will ever learn how to do it. Have fun with your new phone!

  7. Doreen, the keybord was why I chose this phone. I love it! I actually prefer texting because I’m not a phone person.
Melissa does text (it’s cheaper than calling) but thankfully it’s just an occasional thing and not all the time. She knows that she has to be responsible with her minutes and they have to last her until she gets a new card.

Cheryl, I get 500 non-Verizon texts a month, which is good because Melissa has a Tracfone.

Deanna, I haven’t had any problems with my phone yet, and the sound is better than my old phone (it was an LG, too, but a flip phone)

  8. andrew loves to text too..his plan is 400 texts monthly…he has never gone over…we are both on T-mobile so being mobile to mobile we can text/call each other without using our mins…works perfectly!

Glad you are enjoying your new phone…
