2009/280: Humming Birds

Finally some humming bird shots! The first one was taken on our vacation, and the second one I took at Greg’s brother’s house.
I needed my bigger lens for these, but of course I didn’t have it with me.

  1. Please bring your big lens next time 🙂
These small birds are amazing. The way #2 holds its position in the air is almost unbeliveable.
I saw hummingbirds in Florida once. In my cousins ‘garden’, which was similar to this. A lawn down to a small lake.

  3. I have yet to try to photograph these fast and tiny birds. Keep at it, you’ll get those close ups someday. Good luck!

Great action shot! Every time I try to have a hummingbird feeder that sticky red sugar water is all over the place.
