2009/305: Minnie And The Vampire
They got to go Trick-or-Treating… three times!… since they more or less co-operated for pictures.
Friday night was our town’s downtown trick-or-treat and they got tons of candy! I had to carry Sara’s bag home for her because it got too heavy for her. Threw most of the crap candy away and kept the chocolate for the kids and some other things for me and Greg. (Melissa is getting braces soon and has spacers right now, and Sara has stainless steel caps on some of her teeth, so they can’t have gum and other sticky candy anymore).
Then Saturday afternoon was the Fall Carnival at Sara’s school, and Saturday evening some friends invited us to Trunk-or-Treat at their church. Believe it or not, I actually left the camera at home all three times! Just took a few pictures before we left.
Messed up the settings (aka wasn’t paying attention to my settings) on this one and had to convert because it was overexposed. It’s an outtake, but it’s a keeper!

yay, halloween pics!! I love the last pic too. Tell your girls they are so pretty, no reason to hide from the camera!
We got a TON of candy too……..dh was buying reeses off the kids early on, Buddy went off w/ some friends so at the end of the nite he was trying to convince him to buy 40! reeses…..they trick or treated for about 4 hours

That is so funny, Doreen! Melissa got some Reese’s peanut butter cups and I kept trying to talk her into trading them, or offer to buy them from her, but she wouldn’t go for it.
And to all the 13+ year-old boys who may read this… Melissa is safely locked away in the closet until she’s 30!! Sara will join her in a few years 😉

Ah, they looked great. So glad they had a fun time… we had a bunch of kids over yesterday and trading went on for a long time last night and now, my kids and their friend who slept over are still trading…

How cute!! Love that last one and the second one turned out really great! It would look good in B&W with red accents too! My kids agreed to turn in most of their candy for a toy, but now they’re having second thoughts.

You said, “wasn’t paying attention to mt settings,” but did You mean, “wasn’t paying attention to my settings,” or is “mt” a term I don’t know?
