2010/042: Rainy Day In The Carpool Lane
One of many reasons I don’t like rain… I have to pick Sara up in the carpool lane, which means I have to get in line at least 30 minutes before school lets out or there are so many cars there, the end of the line is somewhere way down the street. It’s boring, waiting there, and sometimes I bother my friends and family with texts, but this time I decided to bring the camera and take pictures to kill the time.

Very clever, Michaela! I must say – you have the CLEANEST car I’ve ever seen! If I attempted this, everything would be covered in a thin layer (hey, I’m not a pig) of dust and teeny-tiny pine needles. 🙂

Haha, guess I should have mentioned that I wiped off the this layer of dust first 😉 Need to bring Armorall next time I’m stuck in the car pool lane! The last picrure would have been the worst, but thankfully I had wet wipes and napkins in the car for a quick cleaning.

Those are great! It would have taken me the whole time just to clean. Your umbrella is pretty. So your not allowed to park and walk?

Deanna, I usually park and walk to the “walker door”, but when it rains, I either send a note with Sara in the morning, or e-mail the teacher to let her know that Sara will be a car rider. Of course THAT day it stopped raining as soon as I got in the car lane, and by then it’s too late to let them know she’ll be walking after all.

Is this the vehicle you had so much trouble with? I was gong to say it looks like it needs a touch of Armour-All. Mine won’t get it until the temps get above 60 so I live with a dusty interior.

LOL, I do this too! With it being so cold and windy I have found myself in the car rider lane a lot. Great variety of shots!

I used to Armour-All my car while stuck in traffic when I drove between Baltimore and DC. Baltimore was re-doing the roads and everyday it would be a parking lot at one of the 3 main ways to get to east Bal. Key bridge, Harbor or McHenry tunnels.
