2010/043: Mug Series, Part 11
Wow, it’s been over a year since I posted a “mug shot”!
This one is perfect for today because it’s still cold outside, and, according to Tuesday’s (when I scheduled this post) weather report, it was actually supposed to snow yesterday and today! 1-3 inched predicted.
Sara gave me this mug for Christmas. It’s huge! I can fit a whole (4-cup) pot of coffee in there! I love the mug, it’s one of my favorites.
Please excuse the Christmas lights in the background… I thought they were fitting for this picture, even if it is February. I took the tree down in early January, a few days after we got back from vacation. Really!

Well, seems like those meteorologists were wrong. We didn’t get tose 1-3 inches of snow…. well, we did, but those 1-3 inches were BURIED!!
According to the National Weather Service, the snow total at DFW airport is 11.3 inches!!!
It looks sooo pretty outside, I can’t wait for daylight so I can go out and take pictures. Yes, that totally means you will see lots and lots of snow pictures on my blog. I might have enough to last until July! 😉

I thought of you this morning at the gym when they were talking about the south getting a snow storm! I am so glad you are getting some snow to enjoy right at home!

A little update on the snowfall…
Feb. 11, 2010 will go down in in the record books as the snowiest day in Dallas-Fort Worth history.
The official 24-hour snowfall total at DFW Airport was 11.2 inches by midnight, but the snow kept falling. By 4 a.m. Friday, there were 12.5 inches of snow on the ground at the airport.

You sound so excited about the snow Michaela! Better you than me, I say! 🙂 Glad you are having so much fun and look forward to your photos. Cute mug! If it were mine, it would be filled up with hot chocolate (Swiss Miss, of course) spiked with Bailey’s and topped off with lots and lots of whipped cream – yum! 🙂

Wellll…. if it has lots of Bailey’s in it, you might (probably will!) be able to talk me into drinking it! 😉
The snow is absolutely beautiful. It’s melting really fast, though, and tomorrow’s high is supposed to be 50! 😦
