No, that’s not our car.. I was standing next to my car when I took that pic.
We got there early enough that day and beat the crowds, but there were a few other people there.
Just wait til you see Part 2, it’s even prettier! 🙂

I stayed in Colorado Springs with a view of this place from above. Did okay with the photos but that was years ago before I knew what the heck I was doing.
These bring back fond memories. The colors and rock formations are awe inspiring.

What a magical place! A place where one can feel so small….lovely! 🙂

Isn’t it beautiful? I would move to Colorado Springs in a heartbeat! (Certainly beats Texas!!)

Garden of the Gods looks so cool – love the kissing camels! My inernet has been down, but it’s all fixed now. Yay! Glad to hear you had a successful vacation and survived the snowy conditions.

Someone ought to mention to the Gods that it looks a little rocky in their garden.
Texas vs Colorado…well, this is the most beautiful time of year in Texas. Drive down towards San Antonio or Austin in mid-April and see for yourself.

Colorado wins ANY time of the year!
I’m guessing you’re talking about the wildflowers? Colorado has plenty of those, too 😉

Great pictures! I absolutely love Colorado, best place I ever lived. Maybe one day we will move back.
