  1. These must have been INCREDIBLE in person! Love waterfalls…would like them BETTER without snow, but what can you do? 😉

    • What can you do? Go back in the summer 2011! 🙂
      I love waterfalls, too, and found out this morning, that there are several in TX, and some aren’t too far from here! I need to research them a little more to see how big they are.

    I didn’t think running water froze……….how cold was it? Gorgeous……….yeah, I bet it’s really pretty w/o all that white stuff 😉

    • I don’t think it was *too* cold out that day…. not cold enough to make you wish you were inside LOL
      I don’t think it’s the running water that froze, but the spray that clung to the rocks, etc. It just built up as it froze.

    • Yup, steps were closed due to the snow and ice. They were cleaning them off when we were there, but weren’t going to open them until the next day. I would have loved to go up the steps, though.
