Cool! I’ve got a bunch of raspberry bushes in my yard and are they invasive! I don’t think I’ve ever bothered to really notice the blossoms. I’ll be sure to check it out this year.
Very nice. Tracy’s right, i haven’t ever given a blackberry flower a second look before. This is great. However, I still think it isn’t as good as it will be in a month or two. Yum! 🙂
Thanks everyone! Sadly, I can’t eat blackberries anymore, at least not without a side order of Benadryl.
Tracy, that eggplant blossom is GORGEOUS!! Love the color!
We have some raspberries, too (I can still eat those!), but they didn’t really have any blossoms yet the other day. I’ll have to go back out there and check again.
Mmmm blackberries! I never noticed the pink tinge on the blossoms before.

I always find it amazing how lovely the flowers on many plants can be, yet, no one buys blackberry plants for the FLOWERS! 🙂 They should!!
Case in point, last year was the first year we planted eggplants in the veggie garden and I could NOT believe how beautfiul the blossoms were! You can see here: http://milkayphoto.wordpress.com/2009/07/23/once-upon-a-time/
