I remember these from my childhood. We used to call them helicopters…. throw them up in the air, and watch them twirl to te ground.

Great shots! I was just thinking how my neighbor’s maple tree has these, but I’ve never noticed them on mine. Is mine a boy? Also here is a link since I was wondering if they appear on other trees besides maples. The answer is yes.
