2010/356: Bonus: What Greg Will Be Getting

A lump of coal! Well… maybe! 😉
He found this beer at World Market and couldn’t resist trying it. He said it was good, but not good enough to buy it again.

  2. LOL… That’s were you really need to be British… as a drop of the dark stuff goes down really well… although I have to admit it is normally an acquired taste… And you’d LOVE some of the names too… Santa’s Butt Porter has to be one of the best… Oh trust me… It’s real… 🙂

    • I’ve seen some of the ones with the funny names… not that I remember what they were! I’m not a beer drinker at all, but I think Greg does like some of the darks. This one may not have been one of the better ones in his opinion, but at least there was more alcohol in it than in the ameican beers 😉

    • I’m 99% positive my husband brought a “Santa’s Butt Porter” home last Christmas!

  3. Not a fan of the dark beers. I like mine golden or pale, thank you.

Like the name though as it stands out and is just asking to be tried.

  4. LOL…. a lump of coal most men would LOVE to receive! Hubby isn’t a fan of the dark beers either. BUT, I bet he would have tried this one! 🙂

  5. That’s very cute. If I happen across a bottle, I will bring one home for hubby and me to try. I’m not much of a beer drinker, but I don’t mind a stout now and then.

  8. Merry Christmas to you and your large family Michaela.
I like the stout type beer. But it it not good for drivind, so it must be in small quantities.

It is a dark one too! Too bad it wasn’t a hit. Are the girls going to leave a glass of that for Santa?

    • Greg only bought the one bottle, so Santa won’t be getting a glass of this. He will be getting a special kind of eggnogg 😉
