2010/361: Season’s Greetings

I know Christmas is over, but you can’t just quit cold turkey, right? I had to hit some of the after-Christmas clearance sales to see if I could find some cute snowman ornaments.

I say that Christmas photography can continue until the New Year!

I hate that xmas is only one day. I can’t believe some people take their tree down the day after. It’s Christmas all week, at least in my mind, lol.

No after xmas sales here, we are officially snowed in.

    Very cute……did you find more?

    • In Germany it’s 3 days! Christmas Eve, and then the 25th and 26th are Christmas Holidays.
Greg was complaining that my radio station started playing Christmas music before Thanksgiving, and then stopped at midnight on Christmas Day (actually they were still playing it yesterday).

How lucky that you are snowed in! I’ll be waiting for some snow pictures! πŸ™‚

And yes, I found a couple more, plus some snowman rub-on transfers that I will be making Christmas ornaments with next year.

  7. Lovely ornament πŸ™‚ It is so nice to stay in the Christmas mood for a while. Our tree decorates the living room until the Three Kings’ Day in January. I miss its soft lights in the evening when it is gone. Christmas, what a lovely time of the year !
Alles Gute und SchΓΆne fur das Neue Jahr, Michaela !

    • Danke Isa πŸ™‚
Our tree will stay until January 6th as well.

  8. I HATE it when Christmas just seems to ‘crash’ the day after. Uh-uh. Not for me.

Tree stays up and lights go on right on through January 6th (Epiphany).

Can’t miss a bargain, now, can we? He’s a cutie and I’m sure will be welcomed warmly into the snowman ‘fold’. πŸ˜‰

  10. Seriously, you know what you are going to post for the rest of the year????

Love the snowman…Christmas lighting is beautifully balanced.

Wonder who your one visitor from Trinidad is…

    • Yup, I know what I’m going to post. I usually schedule posts a week or two in advance. They go up at 4am my time, and even though I’m usually up around that time anyway, there’s no pressure to post something NOW! πŸ™‚

Maybe my visitor from Trinidad was someone you know? Do you still have family/friends there? Maybe they found their way over here from your blog.
