2011/006: Bonus – Before It All Came Down

… it was time for one last picture. My little snow couple, and surprise Christmas gift. They are flameless candles, and sure to never melt 😉
Hopefully these two will be good luck, as we are expecting an “arctic front” this week-end. Temperatures are supposed to start dropping on Sunday afternoon, and next week our highs will be in the 30’s, and lows in the teens and 20’s. There’s even a chance of snow Sunday night and Monday! *Crossing my fingers*

aww, so cute! fingers crossed for ya………we’re expecting snow tomorrow 1-3 inches, funny how 2 years ago, schools would’ve closed but now after multiple storms of 24 inches, that now is just a nuisance, lol

    • Thanks, Doreen! If we get 2 inches here and the schools don’t close, I’m keeping the kids home to let them play in the snow! You just never know how long it’s going to be until we see snow again.

  2. What a cute couple! And I love the dots of light in the background. My tree is still up – will be coming down soon.

  3. Adorable couple, indeed! Love the bokeh ‘snow’ in the background. Nice touch. 🙂

Our decorations came down on Monday simply because I woke up, realized hubby had the day off and that meant, HELP. We also organized the items, donated what we hadn’t used in years and cleaned the place up. Our outside decorations are frozen in place so we still put the lights on at night. So pretty!

Question: do you ever HATE your regular accessories when you go to put them back out after Christmas? I’ve been experiencing that all week so that means shopping and making many, many changes. So far, I’m liking the new ‘look’ but more needs to be done.

Snow is on the way for us. How much is the question…

    • Your house was decorated a LOT more than mine! I bet it would have taken you all day (or more!) to take everything down yourself and pack it up.
I hate the color of the walls in the dining room and have been wanting to paint them for the past 2-3 years! Even got the new colors picked out, just need to get around to painting… we’ll see when THAT is going to happen! LOL

      Happy shopping! 🙂

I never knew TX got so much snow until I met the TX snow genie. LOL. Anyone in TX pissed about all the snow they have gotten in the past few years has only one person to blame 🙂

I do hope your wish comes true. I love that fluffy stuff too.

    • Anyone in TX who is pissed about all the snow, is absolutely crazy!!!
      Blame who?? 😉

  6. So cute, I hope they bring you the snow you’ve been waiting for. I even hope we get some before winter is over. The new snow gear is still waiting to get used here!

    • Good luck!! Hope you do get some snow.
Looks like we’re getting rain and freezing rain, because it will be just a little too warm to snow. Of course when it does get cold enough there won’t be a coud in the sky! But I’m not giving up hope yet!
