2011/035: Bonus 1 – Ice
When I saw some strange icicles hanging from our back porch yesterday afternoon, I decided to brave the cold again, to take some pictures. Although at 26 degrees F, it almost felt warm! At least I was able to stay outside for more than five minutes 😉
Look for another bonus post sometime later today, I have even more ice pictures to share. And, it looks like there will be more bonus posts coming up in the next few days, because we woke up to SNOW this morning!
Some icicles grew legs… maybe they were trying to run away? I don’t blame them 😉
Drip!
My car was/is attached to the street with some icicles!
Yay….snow and ice. Sorry I can’t be more enthusiastic for you. It is -4 F here. You shoudl SEE the icicles we have here..alien forms similar to yours but on a monstrous scale. More snow coming tomorrow. Sigh…this isn’t fun anymore.

Take some pictures, I would LOVE to see them!
More snow? Well, at least it beats ice 😉

crazy!!! I can’t believe you’re week, are you still having fun?? lol!
I really like the 3rd one……..looks like feet being sucked up by an elephant, lol.

Yes, still having fun, although I don’t like being stuck at home and not being able to go anywhere. Too dangerous out there to drive! Greg went to the office yesterday and said it was a mistake (patches of ice everywhere, and the intersections were the worst!) He was home by 1pm, and today the roads are even worse! Temps are still below freezing, but they’re saying we’ll be in the 40’s tomorrow.
Hopefully the roads will finally improve then, because we really need to go grocery shopping! Good thing Wal-Mart is only 2 miles away (vs. 5 miles to the grocery store)

Third one down looks like some high heels worn on the red carpets this year.
I knocked down a monster icicle yesterday on my house. We need a thaw badly up here to melt off the ice built up everywhere.

I love the way you caught the drip. 🙂

#3 looks like some odd body. I hate icicles right now since my roof is leaking more and more with each storm. 6″, really? What the heck will they do down there?
