2011/066: Non-Macro Nature (2)

More shots from the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center

One of my favorites

I really like this one, too, and I didn’t even have to lay on the ground. This was almost eye-level.

  1. Looks like Autumn. Ground level while standing up would be a back saver. 🙂

I was thinking the exact same thing….makes me think winter is coming. How is that eye-level? that sure looks like it would be on the ground.

    • Well maybe not EXACTLY eye level, but the walkway was much lower than my subjects (I was photographing up a hill) and it didn’t require getting dirty 🙂

  3. First one’s a winner.

It really is autumn here (officially, though only just), so I’m hoping to see some rusty leaves about, before too long 🙂

  5. Your photos were making me thinking of Spring. I especially like that second one. (It’s how the elves and wee folk see the world.)

  6. I really like the brown leaves – with a hint of green in the background. Very nice!

  7. Ahhhh… Now you can’t beat a slugs eye view of things naturey… or maybe I just prefer getting down and dirty… lol.. LOVE the “eye level” one too…
