At least that’s what we called them when we were kids, and if you picked one, it would rain the next day.

  8. We’ve got them here, too. (Not yet, unfortunately.) I think they’re called Spring Beauties? Just looked them up in the flower book. Yep, they have those stripes.

    • Thanks for looking up the name. I couldn’t remember what they were really called. Was there a botanical/latin name, too? Pretty sure the name on the sign had something to do with water.
