What lovely colors! Love how the blue in the background is shaped to frame the flowers.

  3. Right in the eye!
The light and bokeh forces you to focus on the beautiful flower.
The blue / black background adds to the quality of the image.

  5. This whole series, all week, has me homesick for my native Michigan. The desert just doesn’t cut it. Not to mention it’s supposed to be near 100 by Friday. Blah! Great shots. Made me feel the cool of a real spring!

  6. Thanks everyone.
Lisa, I’m so sorry! I’m not looking forward to the heat either, but we’re not doing too bad (yet!!). It’s been only in the 50’s those last few days and we’re supposed to be near 80 by Friday. I’m sure it won’t be long until we’re melting away just like you 😉

All the pictures this week (since the poppies) were taken at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.
