2011/097: Bonus – wwwp5k, Thursday Edition
Today I went to the gym, not only armed with my iPod, but a magazine, too! Reading while walking (please do not try this outside!) really makes the miles go by faster.
Distance: 3.1 miles (aka 5k)

Woohoo for you! I played tennis for an hour and a half and took the dog for a nice long walk. Tomorrow 6.5 miles.

I LOVE playing tennis! Haven’t played since I was a teenager, though…. and I hated playing with my sister (she kept knocking the ball over the fence) and my mom (too critical), but it was sooo much fun with my dad! 🙂
Good luck tomorrow! I will probably only have time for a 5k, I desperately need to get an e-mail answered, that I was hoping to do today, but haven’t gotten around to it so far.

You picked a good mag to read, too. Now, you need to get an iPad and you can read whole books via iBooks and listen to your music. Gyms should be thinking of putting tablet holders on their equipment with power jacks.

Just renewed my subscription, too! 🙂
Some of the machines allow you to charge your iPod while you listen to music (not sure if iPads have the same jack), but not the treadmills that I use. Would be nice if they had a better holder for books, but I think they all work for e-readers and magazines.
