Is that really its name? Or is that because it is a weed that pops up everywhere? If it is a weed, I’d happily let it be.

  Yup, according to Melissa’s Texas Wildflowers poster, that’s really its name.
  We don’t have too many of these in our yard, but plenty of the regular kind.
