2011/290: Toppings

At the local Yogurtville. I usually skip the toppings, though.

  2. We don’t have a Yogurtville around here – probably a good thing, I’d be there too often!!! πŸ˜‰

    • Haha, we have at least three different self-serve yogurt places within 7-8 miles from our house! We don’t go very often, though (which is a good thing!)

Because you asked… my favorite toppings are hot fudge AND peanut butter sauce with salted peanuts on top of burnt vanilla sugar ice cream from Harold’s the inventor of the smoosh-ins.

    • Ooohhh, that sounds yummy! Except for the peanuts and MAYBE the burnt vanilla sugar ice-cream. Not a fan of vanilla ice-cream, but this sounds a lot better than plain ol’ boring vanilla.
      Now I want peanut butter…..

  4. All I can say is that I’m pretty sure I’m missing out entirely over here, and it’s NOT fair I say… I want frozen yoghurt with toppings… or either on their own… I’m not fussy yanno… πŸ™‚

  6. Blogging buddies meet-up at Yogurtville? Sounds good. But I’d need airfare too, LOL.
No Yogurtvilles around here either, but seems like a place I could get into!

  7. Well, as soon as I win the lottery, I’ll fly everyone out here… better yet, I’ll fly everyone (including myself of course) somewhere less boring than Texas πŸ˜‰
Now, who’s got those winning numbers?

  8. That’s a bizarre little photo… I like bizarre! No yogurt for me… Culver’s concrete with Heath bar is my vice… well, one of them! πŸ˜‰

we have a place by us, just went last week for the 1st time. Have to say, wasn’t overly impressed. Crazy expensive and my cake batter yogurt didn’t taste like anything. if I’m paying that amount of money, I want it to taste like something, screw the calories, I want my money’s worth πŸ˜‰

    • That’s too bad that you were disappointed.
The places near us all charge 35 cents per ounce, and when we go, the average is about $3 per person. I actually think it’s cheaper than Baskin Robbins.
The only thing I don’t like, is that two of the three frozen yogurt places we’ve been to, only have one (giant) size cup. At least the other one has a smaller size, which is still big for kids, but I tell them not to go overboard when they fill them.

  10. Mmm, a Yogurtville sounds wonderful. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one. And that’s probably a good thing. πŸ™‚
