2012/022: Playing With Matches
No matches were lit during this project
This last photo was taken with my iPad…. forgot to take one with my “real” camera.

very cool, these would make some neat wall art. I probably would have had to light it after I created it though… but I am a bit of a pyro at times. I love the lines and pops of red color, nicely done

Thanks, Anna.

Wasn’t your previous post about not having time to comment on blogs because of your cross-stitch project? I think it must be because of your new matchstick skilz and cross-stitch is a code name.

LOL that was on the week-end… Greg watches all his stoopit shows that he recorded during the wekk, and I don’t want to suffer through them, so I take a little break from stitching. And I DO need to keep the pictures coming on my blog π

Oh my goodness – did you do this out of boredom or just the need to create? Either way, that’s pretty cool!

LOL mostly boredom. There’s more (of course!) and I’ll have those pictures coming up sometime in February. January is all scheduled π

Oh! Did you do this with the matches? How cool is that, Michaela? I love it!

Very cool photos! I’m curious, did you build two separate towers or did you rotate after stacking? The first two look so straight.

Thanks, everyone π
Deanna, I just built one tower, and then twisted it.

Very cool!! Now, you’re going to have to find a way to light something like this (safely)!! Make sure you have your camera ready!! π

So so so cool!

It requires a certain amount of patience to make these. And I would like to see how it looks, when they are ignited π
