2012/052: Just Ducky
On January 24/25, 2012 we got 6 inches of rain within 24 hours, which pretty much turned our backyard into a small pond, and the little ducky got to take a little swim 😉

We got that much rain in a short time before… that was 2-3 years ago. You might remember the picture I posted right here on the blog, of me ankle deep in freezing cold water, wearing flip-flops! LOL I really need to get some rubber boots! 😉

I know!!!!!!! I’ve pretty much given up the hope for snow this winter… if you can even call it winter! We’re expecting temperatures close to 80 F on Thursday!!

Grapefruit?? Eeewwww! I’d DEFINITELY throw them back and demand chocolate….and not the cheap stuff either!
It’s quite possible that this was more rain than we got all last year…we certainly didn’t get much more than that.

We had a pretty good little shower here yesterday… nothing like that though! I have a rubber duckie collection… about 50 strong! Cute pic and I don’t have a pirate. 🙂
