yuck. I just said to george about getting my camera/lens’ cleaned….my zoom crunches when I turn, like a grain of sand is caught.

    • I don’t want to send my camera in, because I don’t want to be without it 😦 …and I’m too chicken to attempt to clean it myself.
I got some sand into my macro lens when I dropped it at the beach a couple years ago. Got most of it out, and the rest seemed to have worked itself out on its own.

      • I feel the same, what would I do without it? But it really does need a good cleaning.

  5. I want to say “ha ha” but I know how serious it is to have a camera with sand in the lens. Little Sony Cybershot got sand in her eye at the beach, too. I hope you figure out what to do. I ended up buying a new camera.
