No, no big celebration plans. Sara is making her a Birthday breakfast this morrning, and we’re going out to dinner tonight (Mel wants to go to CiCi’s Pizza), and she wanted to invite some friends over for Saturday afternoon.

Hahaha, thanks, Karen. Melissa is learning to drive in the shoebox (aka Greg’s car) so he’s the one having all the fun with driving lessons 🙂

Happy bithday to Melissa – I love that she is reading a BOOK – and not an ipad, pc or a smartphone 😉 – my son only reads a book if he is FORCED to it (by a teacher!)

Driving age here is 16. She still has a few months to go until she can test for her license. There’s no rush if you ask me (and she doesn’t like driving all that much either!)
She got some gift cards (amazon, iTunes, and HalfPrice Books), a Manga drawing book, a sketching & inking set (aka pens), a bookmark, and cash.

I think she had a pretty good Birthday. Sara made breakfast for her…no school yet…dinner at the restaurant of her choice AND frozen yogurt for dessert….presents she liked…and some friends over on Saturday afternoon to celebrate.
