Counting Down
One of my favorite things around Christmas time as a child was an Advent Calendar. Back then I had the ones with a piece of chocolate behind the little doors, and we always get the girls a chocolate Advent Calendar.
This more adult version with just a picture behind each door was a surprise from Germany.

When I read the preview of this post in my email and saw “more adult version” I thought maybe there was going to be little bottles of booze inside the doors, lol!!

Oh sweet Advent calendars~~loved them in the past. Yours look very cool. We used to open them when the kids were around.

You don’t need to have kids around to have an Advent calendar 😉
I can’t remember if I was able to find them anywhere when my boys were little, but for the girls I’ve been able to find chocolate filled ones that were made in Germany. This year we bought them at Target and they don’t like them as much as the German ones because the numbers are all in order (on the one from Target) and they don’t have to search for it every day. It’s back to the German made ones again next year!
