2014/010: Walking In A Winter Wonderland
Well…..not exactly.
We spent Christmas in Pensacola Beach Florida and it was really cold, with temperatures in the 30’s in the morning, and in the 40’s (possibly in the low 50’s) and really windy. But this isn’t snow, it’s a snowy-white beach.
Love the simplicity – Minimalism! – here. Excellent composition. Adrian

Snowy white beaches are the best. am always amazed when we are at Fort Myers Beach to admire the white sand. Our sandy beaches here in the UP are definitively more yellow/brown. (No where near the yellow color that shines translucently on snow in January.)

I think the Gulf coast is the only place I’ve ever seen white beaches like this. They really are beautiful. (And I don’t mind at all that the white sand stays nice and cool in the summer heat!)
