Away For The Holidays
We’re off to spend a few days in Pensacola Beach, Florida….at a hotel right on the beach…..with Gulf view! I can’t wait!
It will be too cold to swim, but that’s OK with me, I prefer long walks on the beach anyway.
Trevor might be coming with us 😉
2012/341: It’s Beginning…
…to look a lot like Christmas.
Today’s the day the decorations come out. The tree won’t go up until a week or so before Christmas, though.
2011/365: Thank You
Thank you to all my readers, for making this another great blogging year. It wouldn’t be half the fun without you! It’s been an exciting year, with my blog subscribers growing to more than 80! Of course being featured on WordPress’ Freshly Pressed had a lot to do with that 😉
It was so nice, making a few new friends, and I’m ever so greatful for all my longtime readers who keep sticking around.
I’m so excited to officially start my 5th blogging year tomorrow!
Last but not least, I also want to wish my hubby a very Happy Bithday! Love You!
2011/357: Bonus – Souvenir Ornament
Silent Night Chapel at Bronner’s in Frankenmuth, Michigan.
Replica of Oberndorf, Austria.
2011/356: Bonus – Cuckoo
One of the little souvenirs I picked up at Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland in Frankenmuth, Michigan last summer.
2010/363: Peace (2)
My last find at the after-Christmas clearance sales. It was a little disappointing that I only found three snowman ornaments (and this isn’t even really a snowman, but it’s close enough for me!).
2010/362: Peace (1)
Find #2 at the after-Christmas clearance sales. A snowman AND a heart! Can’t go wrong with that! 😉
2010/361: Season’s Greetings
I know Christmas is over, but you can’t just quit cold turkey, right? I had to hit some of the after-Christmas clearance sales to see if I could find some cute snowman ornaments.
2010/359: Bonus: Ornaments
This one was a Christmas gift from my best friend in Germany. A little something from the Erzgebirge.
She sent this little cutie to Melissa (unfortunately they didn’t have one with my name). It’s a snowglobe snowman, and it says Fröhliche Weihnachten Melissa (Merry Christmas Melissa)
Frosty was Sara’s Christmas gift to me. A perfect addition to my snowman ornament collection.
Do S’mores people count as snowmen, too? I think they do 🙂 This one is an older ornament, that I found a year or two ago.
2010/357: Santa
Santa better hurry up and get here, I can’t take the “I can’t wait until Christmas!!!!” anymore!
2010/356: Snowman
I love you, little snowman ornament, but I’d trade you for the real thing in a heartbeat! 😉
2010/355: Jingle Bells
Not to be confused with “dingle bells”! I posted this video two years ago, but it’s just too cute not to share again. Melissa was 9 and Sara was 2.
2010/354: Joy
Snowmen….. I love them with all my heart 😉
One day I want to decorate the Christmas tree only with snowman ornaments and glass ball ornaments.
December 23 Bonus
As requested, here are some pictures of the Family ornament I made.
And this is for Doreen (you can see her little bird nest on her blog)
Melissa made 25 of them, to give to her teachers and friends. She finished them just in time, to hand out on the last day of school before winter break. I did hot-glue them all together for her to help her get them done. This one is mine 🙂
