Keeper Of The Coin
A little follow-up post to my Mystery Coin…. I knew I wanted to do something with it, but wasn’t sure exactly what, so I went to the craft store and looked around to see what I could find, and this locket was just perfect for it. As you can see, it’s not finished. I still need a chain for it, and I’m thinking of adding something else to it, too. Some crystal beads maybe? I’ll have to look through some jewelry making books to get some ideas…
2012/356: A Christmas Mystery
I received a Christmas card from a friend recently. I took the card out of the envelope and placed it into the basket with the other Christmas cards that we had received, and put the envelope on my desk because I wanted to save the stamp for a craft project that I have planned.
I picked up the envelope, and it felt slightly heavier than just paper… like there was something inside. I opened it up, and sure enough, there was a coin in the corner. Very odd. I had no idea why, and what it was doing in there. Of course I contacted my friend, who had NO idea how the coin got into the envelope…
Maybe it’s a Lucky Mystery Coin?
2010/132: Indian Head Penny
From 1905! Sara found it in the coinstar. Needless to say, I traded her a much newer penny for it.
