2011/345: Candy Cane Hershey Kisses

The kids talked me into trying these, although most of them got to travel overseas to my best friend.
We did keep a few to try, and they were really good, with little bits of candy canes.

2011/194: Air Delight Hershey Kisses

They are so light and airy, they float right out of the wrapper! 😉
These taste just like the regular milk chocolate Hershey Kisses, but with a lighter texture (less chocolate for the same price?)

By the way, there was no “photoshopping” involved, other than the basic picture editing stuff, like sharpen, brighten, contrast adjustment, etc.
Anyone who can figure out how I did this, wins the Smartypants Award (aka bragging rights). If no one figures it out, I may or may not give away my secret.

2009/220: Vacation, Part 7

We decided to go to Hershey, Pennsylvania since it wasn’t too far out of the way, and that’s where we were on Sunday, July 5, 2009.
There wasn’t enough time to go to the amusement park, and we only went to Chocolate World. We took the tour through the “factory” first, and then the girls got to package up their own Hershey Kisses at Hershey’s Factory Works. Of course we browsed through the shops, too, and bought some chocolate!

From there we went on to Baltimore, Maryland where we ate lunch (Greg was dying to eat crabs!! YUCK!) and then visited Greg’s brother for a while. Unfortunately our sister-in-law and nephew were in Maine on vacation and we didn’t get to see them.

Our next stop was Frederick, Maryland. If I could live anywhere in the world, this would be the place! I actually lived there for a little over a year and still miss it.
We stopped at Carroll Creek Park, which was still under construction when we moved to Texas. It’s a really nice park with lots of restaurants and shops, a “river walk” and beautiful bridges and artwork. All the artwork you see here is painted onto the bridge and the walls, even the stones and ivy were painted.

2009/108: Hershey’s Orange Creme Kisses

I have to admit, I never would have bought these myself, because they just didn’t sound all that appealing. I got these in the mail from a friend as a thank you a few weeks back.
They tasted much better than I thought! Not that I got to eat very many of them, because the kids ate most of them 🙂

Mint Truffle Kisses

Hershey needs to stop coming out with all these delicious flavors… I’m running out of ideas of how to photograph them.

Kiss!

Coconut…. my new favorite Hershey Kisses. How will they top this one?

(Thanks, Cheryl. Guess that was payback for the Cheesecake ones? LOL)
