Every one of these is out of focus…. on purpose! The third one is my personal favorite.
Another flower from the bouquet Greg gave me for Mother’s Day.
Can’t leave out the flowers that hubby got me for Mother’s Day. I requested no roses (getting kind of boring to of photograph) and no carnations (just don’t like them).
Not sure what kind of flower this one is, but it sure is pretty.
Happy Mother’s Day to all my mommy readers, and the wives of all my daddy readers.
Hope your day is beautiful from the minute you wake up in the morning until the minute you fall asleep at night.
Wishing all the moms a Happy Mother’s Day!
This was Mother’s Day afternoon. Sara brought two bean plants home from school the Friday before, that she wanted to plant into pots, and Melissa saved some apple seeds, that she wanted to plant.
Better late than never!
Greg didn’t get me any flowers for Mother’s Day yesterday. He talked about stopping at the store on the way home from breakfast and picking up some flowers, and he said that I could pick them out myself. I told him that I didn’t want to pick out my own flowers and I guess all he heard was “I don’t want to pick out my own flowers”.
I did complain, and today he brought me this beautiful bouquet!! ♥
… to all the moms! Hope your day is perfect in every way!
This is a little statue at the Dallas Arboretum
OK, it wasn’t exactly an “adventure”, but I got to go to one of my favorite stores yesterday. We got there early enough to browse through the furniture part of the store, had lunch in their restaurant, and then browsed through the downstairs. We looked at lamps for the dining room and I think we could both agree on this one http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70089447 I love the option of candles or light bulbs. We didn’t buy it yet because Greg won’t have time to put it up before we leave for vacation, so we’ll just have to go back 😉 The girls found some huge plush dolphins that they fell in love with, and Greg bought them. Stay tuned for pictures!
I’m already looking forward to going back with a friend this fall, after the new school year starts. Just her and me… no kids to slow us down, and no husbands to tell us to hurry up.
Having some problems with the blog today… hope this finally shows up (and only ONCE!)
