Plum blossom petals…
“It’s impossible” said pride
“It’s risky” said experience
“It’s pointless” said reason
“Give it a try” said the heart
A true friend gives freely, advises justly, assists readily,
adventures boldly, takes all patiently, defends courageously,
and continues a friend unchangeable.
~ William Penn
We had a couple of quick rain showers on Tuesday afternoon, and when it was all over, the sun finally came out again, after too many cloudy dreary days. I grabbed my camera and headed out into our backyard. Good thing I did, because by Wednesday morning the wind had blown most of the plum blossoms off the trees.

I went outside yesterday, to see what I could find to take pictures of, and found two little blossoms on the plum tree.
There were many more today!
Told you it wouldn’t be long! Only a couple of days after today’s first picture was taken, the first buds opened.
I can’t wait until the trees are in full bloom, they’re so beautiful, and smell soo good!
They really like our plum trees… there are hundreds of bees! And they’re NOT easy to photograph!
