My Other Soccer Star

Her season is over… the last game was May 10th, and even though her team lost 8 out of 10 games, she had fun anyway.

She won’t be able to sign up for soccer in the fall because she chose to do athletics at school next year, but she’s going to try out for the school’s soccer team.

  2. I’m not sure how tall she is… I’ll have to measure her when she gets home from school. Just for you, Doreen! 😉
Athletics is one of the electives next school year, they can choose that over gym, and since Melissa hates gym, she picked athletics (going to try out for volley ball and soccer, not sure what will happen if she doesn’t make either team). Poor thing refuses to believe that athletics is going to be a lot more work than gym!

She is all legs! I think I would have chosen athletics over gym too. Maybe be more work, but no gymnastics (I can’t even do a cartwheel), swimming (dreaded bathing suits), or dodgeball (can anyone say OUCH!).

  4. Just measured how tall she is… 4ft 9 1/4in.

When she was 4, her pediatritian predicted that at age 18 she will be 5’4″ and 113lbs. We’ll see in another 6 years how close he was. Somehow I think she’ll be a little taller, though.
