…and you have to wait in the elementary school car lane for 30 minutes to pick up your child, you have to find something to keep yourself occupied!

  1. Nice clear shots! I was running around yesterday with little time for my 365 so I took a shot from inside my car looking out, there may be laws against texting or talking on the phone while driving but no one said anything about photographing while driving.

    • Also, I’m impressed with how clean your car is, mine is filthy!

      • Thanks, Becky!
I usually don’t take pictures while driving…for the Instagram shot yesterday I handed Melissa my phone, and of course the above shots were all taken while I was parked in the pick-up line 🙂
Oh, and trust me, these shots were planned and I made sure I dusted/wiped things off first 😉

    • Thanks, Doreen!
After you upload your pictures to WP, you click on the “from gallery” tab and from there you have an option to pick the number of columns, etc. There’s also a slideshow option.

  3. Race cars don’t have cruise control !!… and where’s the flappy paddle gear box, and lights on the steering wheel to tell you when to change up ??…

    • Race car? What race car? I don’t race! (Shhhhh!!!! I told you that in secret!!!)
Haha, race cars don’t have an automatic transmission, either! 😉
My Rogue actually had the paddle gear thingies….don’t remember any lights, though.

  4. Oh yes! Been there, done that! (Not photographed the inside of the car. Waited for kids. Didn’t have a camera back then & didn’t know how to use them. Would do that now.) Once I had to wait for two hours in the elementary parking lot. In frustration I went to the casino across the street and threw $5 in the penny machines!

    • You had to wait for TWO hours?? Did they forget the time and let the kids out late? 😉
Hope that penny machine was a lucky one….but even if it wasn’t, $5 isn’t a big loss.

      • You know, Michaela, all I can remember is that it was Junior High Band and I had to wait two hours. Maybe was doing something else in town and didn’t know exactly when they would return and didn’t want to drive the 17 miles home and then come back? Funny how all the parking-lot episodes have blurred together…

  8. I would do the same thing! Sometimes I wish our school had a pick up lane, but not if I had to wait that long. We can drop off, but we have to park and walk to pick up.

  9. lol! True. That’s the beauty of carrying a camera. You always have something to do while you wait. 🙂
