2012/093: Cockrell Butterfly Center (1)

The Cockrell Butterfly Center is part of the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and one of our destinations during our recent Houston trip.
Warning… lots of butterflies scheduled here on the blog this week 😉

    awesome 🙂 so, tell the truth was the visit for the kids or you? I have a picture in my mind of them and Greg sitting on a bench outside of the center w/ their arms folded, lol.

      The kids loved it!! Sara was even taking pictures, too. And believe it or not, the Butterfly Center was Greg’s idea!! (I insisted on the beach in Galveston). Guess he figued that if he was going to drag us to Kemah to buy crabs, he better find something to do that I (and the kids) would enjoy 😉

  5. Are those GREEN butterflies in the first photo? If they are, I am sitting with mouth hanging open. Lovely shots!

    • Thanks, Kathy. Those green things aren’t actually butterflies, that’s the crysalis (or however you spell that). Don’t know what type of butterflies will emerge form them.
