2011/104: Would You Like Some Fries With That?
Can’t wait for dinner tonight! We’re going to Mooyah Burger (yum!) because they are donating 15% of the receipts dropped into the box to Melissa’s school’s Relay For Life team.

A lot of restaurants here help with fundraisers for the local schools. Probably a great way to boost business… and a great excuse to eat out every once in a while.

They seem to be pretty new, at least in our area. I had never heard of them either, but they’re popping up all over this area.

It’s clearly just me, as everyone says it looks good, but… when I first saw the fries pic, I thought it was something weird done with cigarettes. Honest!
Our chips (we only call them fries if they come from MacDonalds- in every other restaurant is Aus. you order chips 😉 ) don’t look like that.

I’ve never been to a MooYah Burger, but I might have to find one (no matter how frantically I paw at my screen those fries are just not coming out)! 🙂

Mooyahs seem to be mostly in TX, but there are a few scheduled to open in other states, too, soon.

I got a junior burger on a wheat bun, with swiss cheese, lettuce, grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms, and special mooyah sauce. And fries. Made the mistake of getting their mango iced tea…. yuck! Next time I’ll stick with a Coke.

I don’t know where they got started, but right now all their stores are in TX. I saw on the locations page of their website that they’re opening a store in Hartford, CT this summer, guess that would be the closest one to you 😉
